“In 1991, the USGA established the P.J. Boatwright Jr. Internship Program. This program is designed to give experience to individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in golf administration, while assisting state and regional golf associations in the promotion of amateur golf, on a short-term, entry level basis.”  For additional information about the program, visit the USGA site here.

The MAGA and WMGA conduct 17 championships and 8 USGA qualifiers each season.  The internship offers a wonderful opportunity to gain invaluable hands on experience in tournament administration and experience first hand a critical part of the golf industry.  The application deadline is March 1.
