Play-In Matches – Results through Round 3 ⇒ HERE

The final matches for all divisions wrapped up today.  Every division winner went undefeated, which is an anomaly of sorts.  Typically about half of the divisions are decided on points as there will be two teams that go 2 and 1.

Division 8 winners International CC (2-0) played Division 9 winner Manor CC (2-0) on Sunday, July 16 to determine the last spot in the Final 8.  International won by a final score of 11 – 7 and gained the final spot.

The Final 8 matches will begin on Saturday, July 22, followed by the semi finals on Sunday, July 23, and the Finals on Saturday, July 29.

There were many very close matches this season through the play-in matches.  Division 3 was the tightest, with four matches decided by 1 point and one match decided by just 2 points.

Division 1 winner, and defending champion Argyle CC, was dominant in their run to the Final 8.  After a bit of absence at the top of the heap, Beaver Creek CC, winner in 2016, is launching a big comeback.  They were very strong in Division 2, winning their three matches by a healthy margin, dominating the northern most region of the entries.  Four time champion Crofton CC, in Division 4, also swept their grouping by a wide margin, accumulating  41 1/2 points out of a possible 54 in their matches.

The Final 8 promises to be very competitive with the 2023 title up for grabs.
