Another Georgetown Prep Player Wins 90th Schoolboy Championship

Matthew Duke of Georgetown Prep and Congressional Country Club won the 90th Frank Emmett Schoolboy Championship at Worthington Manor Golf Club with scores of 77-75 on the demanding layout. Matthew becomes the 11th Georgetown Prep player (and first since Denny McCarthy won in 2009 and 2010) to win this event. Griffin Cansler was in second place one shot back with scores of 77-76. Third place was tied with Owen Love (76-79) and Aidan Tudor (75-80)

For the first time this year, the Schoolboy had a college division with Dugan McCabe, Colgate University, (69-70) winning on the first play-off hole over University of Delaware player Elliot Haas (72-67). Third place was Michael Crowley (Loyola University) current GAP Amateur Champion (78-67). Followed by 2022 Schoolboy Champion, Ethan Crabb (77-73).
